I grew up going to a special beach with family. ever since I was a little girl, my mom and aunties would gather us kids (me, my brother and cousins) and take us on multiple-hour long shelling adventures. They taught us what to look for, and at the end of our trip we would go to out grandparents' house for a fish cookout and build frames with the shells we found. Through this process, I learned how to pair shells together and use my creativity with them to figure out how to best showcase all the beauty found on the shores. When I was visiting at an older age, I realized I wanted to create with their beauty and have the creations readily available for everyone else to see as well, thus, I started my jewelry journey. I find all the shells included in each design unless they are gifted to me by someone special. my ideas are ever-changing and I am constantly creating. I offer interior commission orders and will start to include those pieces on this platform for purchase soon, and exciting new things are always on their way :)

I pair seashells (WATER) + beautiful stones (EARTH) together in a way to depict day-to-day scenes from nature. I am inspired by color, sunsets, water reflections, stormy weather, jungle lush, island mountain rivers, different shades of blue ocean waters, light, and real-life epiphanies. When designing a piece, I keep in mind the colors and textures of both shells and stones to execute these visuals.

To remind everyone of the gifts given to us by Mother Nature. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, because every shell is different - just like us. You are YOU, a one-of-a-kind human. My hopes are that when anyone wears a FBL piece, they feel a sense of graounding, grace, confidence and fierceness. I hope everyone feels the true beauty they emobody from the inside, out. This jewelry is a representation of femininity. Stones and shells are beautiful and may appear delicate. They are elements that need to be taken care of while simultaneously, they are strong. They have been tousled around in the waters, beaches, undergrounds, shaped by hands and feet, polished by sand or metal, but still stand with so much poise and beauty. They are powerful and magnetic. I hope that when someone puts each piece on, they feel that within as well. The energies of seashells have similar energies to those of stones, so the combination is a strong force. BE that force.
